Client Brief: Our client felt the property was looking a little tired, and so we assisted them on this refurbishment and extension project to provide a modern family living space.

This compact semi-detached cottage, located in the picturesque Green Belt on the outskirts of Almondsbury, was in need of considerable modernisation. When a long term tenant relocated, the owner seized the opportunity to carry out renovation works and considerably expand the living space – while adding considerable value to the property.
JFL Design & Planning worked in close partnership with the client to resolve issues on site, such as making the best use of the limited internal space and managed the planning and building regulations applications. Despite restrictions on development within the Green Belt, Planning Consent has been granted to almost double the floor space and the works are progressing well.
