Bradley Stoke

Two Storey Rear Extension, Bradley Stoke, Bristol

Client Brief: We were invited to prepare planning and building regulation drawings for the homeowner following a generous recommendation from a local reputable local builder.

Current Status:  Planning consent granted and building works completed.

The homeowner was in need of more living space on both floors and a new integral utility room at the rear of the existing garage. A high quality conservatory had previously been constructed which the owner was keen to retain but in a revised position. A suitable layout was agreed to include the conservatory, planning consent gained and the works were soon underway. The use of an independent Approved Building Inspector ensured the builder could rely upon a single dedicated point of contact throughout the construction phase. This alternative option for the formal inspection of the construction works was suggested to the builder by JFL Design & Planning, to ensure that the project could progress to completion without any unnecessary delays.
